The "Happy Birthday to You" Grand Officer Auction

What do you do when the Cat in the Hat has a birthday??? Why you throw him a birthday party of course!

The Franklin Masonic Temple was the site of a great amount of FUN as the Grand Officers showed up in force to raise money for the Reach Out And Read program! Balloons and Streamers galore decorated the room and much party food was to be had! The room was filled to capacity with potential basket owners!

Our own Daddy Bart did a great job as the Auctioneer. Maria Becker, Grand Recorder and Honored Station did a fine job collecting money and sold tickets for the Hot Air Balloon Ride Raffle. Congrats to Daddy  Paul who won the big prize - I am sure he is going to have FUN as he goes up, up, and away!

Ashley Steele, GWA, was visited by Surprise by the Cat in the Hat himself and Thing 1&2 joined the happy crowd too.
