New Hampshire Grand Assembly 2004A fun time was had by all as we traveled the world of Rainbow at NH Grand Assembly. Our weekend began with rehearsals for the Grandies, where they worked hard but still had time to enjoy the fun and friendship of Rainbow. GWA Beth was welcomed into the Special K club with an adventurous trip around the hotel, and then there was a special presentation made just for Mom Cad by Tiffany and Allie to honor her 4th year as our Supreme Deputy.
Our Friday sessions opened with a beautiful Vespers Service
done by Grand Chaplain Ashley Steele and then Ritual Opening with Initiation of
5 new members into our order. The Grand Representative showed off what they
learned about their respective states. The drills were terrific and the costumes
were amazing! Friday evening was a special night with a beautiful Flag
Tribute and a most memorable Memorial Service in memory of our Grand Master
Albert Burgess who passed away last month. Scholarships were awarded, and then
Michele Higgins was announced as Grand Officer of the Year. After a night of
introductions- all headed out on a warm summer night for some water fun and
frolics, ice cream and lemonade. Saturday morning was full special reports and speeches.
Five young women entered through the Majority Gate of Rainbow, and then Election
of Officers occurred. Miss Tiffany Pond of
After lunch everyone headed to the Grand Assembly room where we all showed off our long awaited Assembly Drills. As usual the Out of Staters got into the act and really showed us they know how to strut their stuff.
Saturday Evening was a time of celebration for the Grand Officers for their special year together. The Banquet –complete with introduction walk –ins, a slide show of special moments for all, awards galore, and a super dinner culminated with the announcements of the newly appointed Grandies for next year. Everyone had a fabulous time!
Sunday morning had a tearful closing and retiring of the
Grand Officers, and then the Installation of the 2004-2005 Grand Officers and
Representatives. We look forward to a wild Safari ride next year as the Jungle
Janes and Crazy Crocodiles travel around the state with Hayley. See you next
year for her Grand Sessions June 30-
