Star's states, "When I was in foster care, I often kept my feelings to myself because I didn't know how to express them. That's why I created the self-expression kits for the Waypoint Youth Center, so other people experiencing homelessness and housing instabilities have a safe way to find and use their voice."

Did you know that hunger is on the rise in NH?
According to recent data, 1 in 9 NH residents are experiencing food insecurity.
You can help by donating or volunteering at your local soup kitchen. Every dollar donated, food given, and hour spent helps!

Food For Thought is a new blog series from our Grand Lecturer, Bella, whose job this year is to help spread awareness about food insecurity and share ways to get involved in our communities.
